I currently use a Dell 926 all-in-one but it scans slabs poorly because they are 3-D and recessed a bit. It scans coins laid flat fine though. My old scanner, an Epson Perfection 1240U scanned slabs decently but it no longer works for some reason. What are some models/brands that will work for coin SLABS? Only answers with experience please, thank you.

I use an HP/fax/print/scanner all-in-one and it works pretty well, but ive only scanned flat. So far no complaints.

I think you shall be able to find the exact prices of your asked gold coins by just click in the first two articles.
really? i come across pre-1982 pennies all the time around here.
check on ebay ,there are alot of close up pics on there but i believe so
Forget the slab. The future of the coin is how the coin looks as well as how rare it is. Grading is not a science and all the services have screwed up or gave their wrong opinion as to grade. Proof is breaking out a coin from it's slab and sending it back too who graded it and it comes back a higher or lower grade. This happens more than we know. You need to learn to grade coins at least a little. If a coin has a nice strike, nice eye appeal and no hairline scratches it will continue to go up in value, in or out of a slab. The slabs are not airtight, so one must be careful of storage. I am not against slabbed coins by the top grading services, one just has to be a little aware of things. Also grading standards have changed since PCGS and NGC started slabbing coins. Coins in their old holders may grade different. Also keep away from modern coins that grade proof 70 or MS-69, there are a lot of them out there and this first strike thing is a gimmick. Also I believe, the standards have gone down not up. Just my observations over the years.
eBay says the Flowing Hair Dollar is worth over $8000.
I hope you're joking. You can also buy plastic slabs on Ebay and put any coin you want in them. Doesn't mean they're valid

I would suggest vinegar and a stiff brush to dissolve the concrete. Anything that dissolves in that isn't a real gem.
Good luck
If you feel like sending me a gem feel free – or else 10 points would suffice – good luck…
