Is the extended warranty worth it? I don't want to pay out of pocket for all repairs (that can get expensive) and I'm not nearly savvy enough to work on the car myself if need be. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.
here's a picture of it:

KBB Value is somewhere around $12,100 (suggested retail value) - but like I'm still intersted in thoughts and opinions from people who might know more than I do.

US $2.53

It’s a base model sentra. New it sold for about $11K. Probably (don’t have a book on hand or know the condition of the car) $4000 – $4500 wholesale trade-in. I’d offer them $5500 and stick to my guns! If they don’t wanna take the offer… walk away. They are putting it to you HARD at $8999. That warranty is overpriced as well. Offer them $1000 for the warranty (in full as it is for the $1795! Not stripped down.)
And just for kicks and giggles: If your credit is good (or your co-signer’s is) thell them the interest rate is 1% too high. Most dealerships pack 3% (legally) on top of the buy rate they get for your loan from the lender. Better yet, have financing lined up prior to going in.
